After breakfast we pick you up in Moshi and drive to Serengeti National Park with lunch boxes for a game drive.

The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania was established in 1952. It is home to one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on Earth—the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. The resident population of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and various bird species is also highly impressive. The park covers 5,700 square miles (14,763 square kilometers), making it larger than Connecticut, and typically, there are only a couple of hundred vehicles driving around the park.

After breakfast, we will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with lunch boxes. We'll descend to the Crater floor for a half-day game drive and then in the afternoon, drive back to Moshi.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area spans an area of 2,286 square kilometers and includes the volcanic region surrounding the Ngorongoro Crater. The centerpiece is the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unbroken caldera in the world. The first sight of it is truly breathtaking.

The floor of the crater covers an area of only 100 square miles but is home to approximately 30,000 animals, with a high concentration of predators.
